The Department of Water Resources, in conjuction with the Burris Park Foundation, will host a day of training for teachers designed by Project WET (Water Education for Teachers).
Activities are designed to meet Common Core Science Standards and unit credits are available.

The Kings County SELPA will be destroying Special Education records of students that have exited the Program prior to July 1, 2015. Records will be destroyed on October 1, 2018.
If you wish to obtain a copy of your records contact the SELPA office at 11835 S. 11th Ave., Hanford, CA, to request records in writing. Your request will be processed within 5 business days.
If you have questions about obtaining records, you may contact Marie Schales at (559) 589-2504.

We have members with experience in law, banking, engineering, education, agriculture, landscape construction, horticulture, art, and more. We work very hard and are proud of all that we have accomplished so far. We are anxious to complete this Garden & Museum by the year 2018!

Red Nose Day, May 25th, is a day dedicated toward Comic Relief while fighting children’s poverty. The concept originated in the United Kingdom and crossed over three-years ago into the United States.
Your $1 donation for buying this comical symbol helps children in need around the world. In the U.S., that includes multiyear grants to groups like Feeding America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Save the Children and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a supporter of NPR, is also backing Red Nose Day in the U.S. by matching donations to the cause made on Facebook up to total of $1 million. Donations are received through June 3rd.
The public can also make direct donations on the Red Nose Day telethon airing Thursday night on NBC.
